he Telegraph’s new Entertainment page on Facebook is up and running!
The Big Bend Arts and Entertainment page will keep tabs on the latest in movies, music, and live entertainment, both throughout the River Bend area and nationwide. Our team of entertainment gurus has been chomping at the bit to get this going, and we truly appreciate all of the tremendous support and encouragement we have already received.
Jill Moon is The Telegraph’s lifestyles editor for the Accent section. She attends and covers many musical acts, plays and special events in the St. Louis and Metro East areas. You will be able to count on her for keeping everyone up-to-date on the latest in the world of arts and entertainment, both locally and nationwide.
Missy Wuellner is a copy editor for The Telegraph and also has her thumb firmly on the pulse of the music scene in Alton and the surrounding areas. She can often be found out and about on the weekends, and she will be able to keep the Big Bend page up to the minute on who’s hot and where you can find them on a Saturday night.
She also gave the Big Bend logo its killer Warhol-style appearance.
For my part, I will be posting this blog on the Big Bend page. In addition to retro pop culture, I also will be on the lookout for video clips, news feeds, and tour announcements to keep everyone updated on what is happening in movies, music, live theater, and literature.
We are all very excited about this new page, which is just one aspect of a new era for The Telegraph as we embrace the social media age and try to use it to serve our followers as best we can. Every day is a learning process for all of us, and we are very grateful for any feedback from our readers, both in print and online. This will be very much an interactive process between you and us. Thanks for joining our team!
and stay tuned
Well said Fred!
